Alice's Tea Cup

It's been a whirlwind of a few weeks and I haven't been able to get my mind around things. Do you ever have that feeling? There is always so much to do and never enough time, and I am getting to that point in the quarter where not enough incentive will keep me motivated. Lately, I'd rather curl up in a bed with a hot cup of tea and a good book than talk about mindless things with large groups of people.

But I would definitely crawl out of bed to go to Alice's Tea Cup. I had the most refreshing weekend in New York. Sans the usual tourist-y agenda, I explored parts of the city I haven't had a chance to see after all these years and my friends took me to Alice's Tea Cup. Teas and scones in an Alice in Wonderland-themed cafe? How could I say no to that? I am a huge fan of the pumpkin scones. Warm and drizzled with sweet syrup, it just fills you up. And their tea menu is longer than their normal sandwich menu. We went for two scones and tea for $10, which was the perfect amount for an afternoon snack.

I will definitely be making multiple trips back to West 73rd street next time I'm in New York. There's just something about the city.

Also: North by Northwestern has been love struck! The entire site has been revamped with a Valentine's Day theme, thanks to Geoff. Check out what Interactive has done for the Hallmark holiday:

I love my team.
